Fabulosas Fábulas Indígenas

Fabio Lisboa irá narrar histórias da tradição oral indígena na Terra, em especial, no Brasil, recolhidas por Betty Mindlim e Kaká Werá, entre outros contadores de histórias, pesquisadores e narradores indígenas. Numa delas, a noite - que até então não existe - precisa ser encontrada pelo povo Gavião-Ikolen. Noutra, um ratinho medroso pede ajuda a um poderoso pajé pra sair da escuridão de sua toca próxima a uma aldeia Guarani. São histórias dos povos originários que trazem à tona valores como o amor, a coragem, a preservação da natureza e a cooperação para o raiar de um novo dia.

I’m honored to share I have been invited to tell for the second time at the Toronto International Storytelling Festival and you, my friends, are invited to join (in person or online)!

This time, due to covid restrictions, the event will be hybrid: I’ll be broadcasted live in a screen (online and for a live audience at the Tranzac club) and tell along with other (in person) tellers (Brianne, Johanne, Ronna and Madeleine - probably online too). Our set will be about “unforgettable moments”, and in my turn I’ll be telling “on my grandfather’s lap”…
